- Bass Cat Lite. For bass clef only.
- Beginner Reading Music: Bass. Perfect for those who want to brush up on just their bass notes.
- C-Sharply Demo. This is the free version, but for less than $2, it's worth it to upgrade to the full version, especially if kids practice!
- Flashnote Derby. Choose your clef (treble or bass), note range (space notes, line notes, CDEFG, etc.), speed and you're ready for the race. You're quizzed on 10 note names in every race and at the end of the game, you're asked if you'd like to review the notes you missed.
- Fun with Notes. Games to help you improve your note names and their location on the staff and piano keyboard. The full version has a 6-octave keyboard.
- Game of Clefs. A note identification app. Choose which clefs you wish to practice (pianists use treble and bass), how long you want the timer to go (1, 2, or 5 minutes), whether you want to use English or solfege to identify the notes, and a few other options.
- Learn Music Notes. NoteZart is a fun little game to learn notes with 68 levels. Choose treble or bass clef.
- Music Flashcards. Choose between note names or solfege. Try to identify 38 notes in one minute or less.
- Music Tales - Kids Learn Notes. Helps you identify notes on the treble staff, the duration of notes, and the relationship of treble clef notes on the keyboard.
- Music Trainer. A note identification app.
- Music Tutor (Sight Reading). Though 'sight reading' is in the title of this app, it really is a note identification app. Choose grand staff, treble clef or bass clef.
- Piano Sight Reading. Though it says sight reading, it really is great for note reading. Two modes of play: practice and examination.
- Read Music Notes HN. Learn to read notes! Start with just 2 notes and gradually add new notes. Great for all ages!
- Red the Music Reader. Red the Robin floats on the grand staff while you identify the notes and strike the corresponding key on the device keyboard. Prizes and penalties abound, so you have to be fast! After Level 1, the key signatures are drilled, so you have to know than an F is actually an F# in G Major.
- Sheet Music Workout. Outstanding app for learning how to read music and it's fun, too!
- Theory, Practice! Four difficulty levels or create your own. Three sections include: Scale Identification (a scale is played and you must identify it from the list - major, minor, pentatonic, or modes); Interval Identification (major and minor intervals from unison to major 13th); and Chord Identification (triads and 7th chords).
- Treble Cat - learn to read music. For treble clef notes only.
