When you update to iOS 11, you may notice that some of your favorite apps no longer work. This is because app developers may not have updated their app from 32 bit to 64 bit, which is the new iOS 11 requirement.
- A Jazzy Day - Music Education Book for Kids. Two cute kittens visit the Jazz Big Band to help you learn the instruments of the band. Read to Me mode reads and plays the story automatically. Read It Myself mode allows you to read the story at your own pace.
- Erskine Jazz Essentials, Volume 1. For those of us interested in perfecting our jazz skills and artistry. This is a play-along app. Play with the full trio (piano, bass, drums) or mute any of the tracks. There are click-track and count-off options as well. PDF lead sheets of well-known standards are included. The melodies to these tunes can easily be found online or in a RealBook.
- iImprov Fundamentals. Helpful tools needed for being able to solo. These basic tools will also help you build a foundation that will be useful as you further develop your craft as an improvising musician. Written and audio lessons in scales, chords, how to resolve, the Circle of Fifths, form, the blues, chord progressions, and practice loops.
- Jazz Scale Helper. there are 3 modes: 1) Play any scale and receive a score. 2) Choose a scale, the app listens and gives you a score. Ideal for improving a specific musical exercise. 3) Challenge Me: The app asks you to play exercises from your Challenge List, then identifies what you need to practice, making sure you get ready while having fun on the way. Grace for practicing a range of exercises.
